 Misguided Emotions

 My mind is troubled by what it cannot find

 I search and try to understand what you are

 Dip my heart somewhere I do not tread

 Drag my mind through the garbage that is your belief

 Stemmed by something you do not understand

 The heart plays tricks of the world one cannot accept

 I garnish the words you speak in a hypocritical stance

 Believe that you mean no harm

 You dig through me 

With your lips that pierce

 Scratch acid into my skin 

With your touch that wounds me

 For what?

 No admitting 

You are not perfect

 Nothing prouder 

Than your sheep's skin

Year's End

 It starts again

 My friends again

 All over again

 So soon

 We start a new

 Another brand new

 To begin the new

 Resolve - Renew

 And end again

 Much too soon!

Fingers become numb

Thoughts are thickened

Deep cold cracks the ice

So frozen

Unwilling

Unbending

So sore

Crawl inside your flesh

Lay low in your warmth

I am welcomed

The rain is cold
It chills my skin
As it rolls down my arm
Down my hand
Down my finger
Pools with the mass
Now surrounding my hand

Though I do not move
I do not shelter myself from it's
Empty, lonely grasp

The rain is cold
It clings to my body
Holds me to itself
Traps us in its
Ever growing intimacy
So tender its touch
So icy its hold on me

In solitude we sit
Peaceful despair
We now share

The rain is cold
It chills my soul
Dilutes my resolve
My colours bleed
I become unseen
Washed away
With the day

Warm summer night,
Cool breeze in the air,
Quiet patter of foot steps,
Drift through the air,
My sweet kitty lays against me,
So I know he is always there...

The walls feel wet from the heat,
No movement at all in the streets,
Hide from the sun inside your room,
Your skin sticks to mine and we slide together
