 Are the lips that touch my neck still felt?

 Do I hear the words that I once knew?

 To touch, embrace, my soul. Can I hear you?

  

 Your fingers dance

 Like steam across my skin

 Your eyes burn through me

 Past the tales I could tell

  

 Beyond my sense of reason

 We lie, We linger

 Shut behind

 Glass door

 To see

 To taste

 To feel no more

 Trapped behind glass eyes

The rain is cold
It chills my skin
As it rolls down my arm
Down my hand
Down my finger
Pools with the mass
Now surrounding my hand

The rain is cold
Though I do not move
I do not shelter myself from it's
Empty, lonely grasp

The rain is cold
It clings to my body
Holds me to itself
Traps us in its
Ever growing intimacy
So tender its touch
So icy its hold on me

The rain is cold
In solitude we sit
Peaceful despair
We now share

The rain is cold
It chills my soul
Dilutes my resolve
My colours bleed
I become unseen
Washed away
With the day

WET AGAIN

I’m wet again
Left out in the pouring rain
I’m standing here
Lost in contemplation
On the changing landscape of my mind

Through the rain
See the colours of the universe
Stretch out across the pavement
Like an oil slick
To cloud my mind

I carry a rhythm in my head
Drown out the voices in my mind
Leave me naked
Leave me blind
Leave me shattered over time

But still I wait
Cry, shake, anticipate
The moment when I reunite
My body, mind and soul
To come alive
